“Tony Knowles will chase a place on the main World Snooker Tour when Q School begins in Leicester next week. The two-time ranking event winner and former world No. 2 dropped off the main circuit in 2001, but has not given up hope of a return to the big time at the age of 68. He will be joined in qualifying by a number of players who finished outside the top 64 in the end-of-season rankings.”
