Matthew Selt equalled the record for the most centuries made in a single tournament, with his 23rd ton of the BetVictor Championship League Invitation event.
Selt entered the tournament in Group One back in December, and is now competing in Group Seven. His record-equalling break was a 117 in the third frame of his match against Xiao Guodong.
The record was set by Kyren Wilson in the same tournament in 2021. He made 23, eclipsing the previous record of 22 set by Neil Robertson in the same event in 2014.
World number 29 Selt still has a chance to beat the record when he plays his final round-robin match against Zhou Yuelong on Tuesday afternoon.
