Si Jiahui enjoyed a tremendous fight-back in the qualifying round of the BetVictor German Masters as he recovered a 4-0 deficit to beat Lyu Haotian 5-4 in Sheffield.
Crucible semi-finalist Si goes through to the final stages, to run from January 19 to February 4 at the marvellous Tempodrom in Berlin.
Lyu dominated the early stages of the all-Chinese clash with breaks of 83, 64, 89 and 112 to take the first four frames. But the match turned after the interval as Si hit back with 123, 87, 98 and 103 to win five frames in a row.
Mark Williams, who won this event in 2011 and 2018, booked his return to the German capital by beating David Grace 5-3 with a top break of 106.
Thepchaiya Un-Nooh top scored with 92 in a 5-1 win over Jamie Jones while veteran Ken Doherty eased to a 5-0 success against Jenson Kendrick. Elliot Slessor made a 103 in a 5-2 defeat of Iulian Boiko.
