“The World Snooker Tour has announced a new ranking Grand Prix in the Chinese city of Xi’an, starting from the 2024/25 season. It will start with a total prize money pot of £850,000, with the winner receiving £177,000, but the sum will increase in subsequent years. The Xi’an Grand Prix will run from August 19-25 in its inaugural year. It is the fifth confirmed event for China next season.”
