“The inaugural Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters will be launched in Riyadh in August, with a prize pot of more than £2 million. The event has been branded by the World Snooker Tour as the “fourth major”, and it is behind only the World Championship in terms of prize money. It will be a world ranking event open to all 128 players on the World Snooker Tour, as well as six local wildcards.”
