Before you go

Six useful questions for the venue

  1. Do you have full-size snooker tables, and how many?
  2. Do I need membership, advance booking or identification?
  3. What is the current hourly or session rate?
  4. Are house cues, rests and extensions available?
  5. What are the accessibility arrangements and step-free routes?
  6. Are under-18s welcome, and must an adult accompany them?

Opening hours, prices and table availability change. A quick call prevents a wasted journey.

Club-finding questions

What is the difference between a snooker club and a snooker hall?

The names overlap. A club may use membership or league structures, while a hall may be pay-to-play, but each venue sets its own access and booking rules.

Should I call before travelling?

Yes. Confirm that full-size snooker tables are available, whether booking or membership is required, the current rate, cue hire, opening hours and any age restrictions.

Does Snooker Site verify every map result?

No. Map data and reviews are maintained by third parties. Official governing-body directories are highlighted separately, and every venue should still be contacted directly.
