Useful should mean usable.
Snooker Site is designed for keyboard, touch, zoom, reduced-motion and assistive-technology use, with known limits stated honestly.
Last reviewed 21 August 2026Target
Snooker Site aims to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across its public pages and core functions. This is a continuing target, not a claim that every combination of user, device, browser and assistive technology will encounter no difficulty.
Measures in the current site
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, tables, labels and a skip-to-content link.
- Visible keyboard focus and controls that do not require a mouse.
- Responsive layouts, reflow, text-zoom support and touch-sized controls.
- Reduced animation when a device requests reduced motion.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and text-based alternatives to visual functions.
- Form instructions, error messages and status updates exposed in text.
- No autoplaying audio, flashing content, account barrier or timed form.
Known limitation
The 147 Break Challenge is a visual, physics-based canvas game. Its shot controls have keyboard-operable labels and live text feedback, but changing ball positions are not fully described to screen-reader users. The rules quiz, score counter, practice builder and written guides provide non-canvas alternatives to the Site’s core learning and play content.
External services
Linked publishers, maps, broadcasters, governing bodies and retailers control their own accessibility. If an external destination blocks access, tell Snooker Site which link and task were involved so a suitable alternative can be considered where possible.
Feedback and assistance
Email accessibility@snookersite.com with the page, the problem and, if comfortable, the browser or assistive technology involved. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. Accessibility reports are treated as product issues.
